Developed skills and lines of research
Paola Mosconi graduated in Biological Sciences, specializing in the Health field, and since 1982 has been a researcher at the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research. Since 2005, she has led the Laboratory for Citizen Engagement in Health Research. Her work involves various aspects related to the organization and coordination of activities among people with different skills and competencies. This includes personnel management and administrative responsibilities. For cystic fibrosis, she organized a citizens’ jury to contribute to an important health policy decision: whether or not to offer carrier screening for cystic fibrosis.
