The Foundation's Research Valorization Initiative has been launched with the aim of identifying and assessing FFC Ricerca's scientific projects in terms of their potential for technology transfer and clinical application.

The 22nd Convention of the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation (FFC Ricerca), a non-profit body recognised by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) as a promoter of scientific research on the disease, will be held in Verona from 14 to 16 November 2024 at the Congress Centre of the Chamber of Commerce, situated in Corso Porta Nuova, near the city center.

This year, the FFC Ricerca will support 17 studies that will be launched in September and will contribute to acquiring new insights about the disease and increase the duration and quality of life for all the people with cystic fibrosis (CF)

FFC Ricerca’s Scientific Committee (SC) welcomed Dr. Michael Pusch, Research Director at the CNR Biophysics Institute in Genoa and an expert in the field of molecular mechanisms regulating ion transport through channel proteins, in particular those for chloride, and of physiological mechanisms regulating transepithelial transport.

At midnight yesterday, Wednesday 31st January, the 2024 edition of the calls promoted by the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation for Italian and foreign researchers came to an end.
